New User12th unit of Vindhyachal STPS starts commercial ops

March 27: The 12th Unit (500 MW) of National Thermal Power Corporation of India Limited's Vindhyachal super-thermal power station (STPS) started commercial operation on March 27, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
With this, the total generating capacity of Vindhyachal STPS will be at 4,260 MW while the total generation capacity of NTPC will reach at 41,304 MW.
