September 4: G8 grade coal (GCV range 4,900-5,200 Kcal/kg) offered in August at the coaljunction platform by three subsidiaries of CIL met with poor demand as 16.28% of the total offered quantity of 160,600 tons got allotted. The total allotted quantity stood at 26,150 tons.
The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,616 per ton.
In July, out of the total offered quantity of 166,800 tons, the allotted quantity stood at 120,700 tons and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,161 per ton.
