2 south India cements cos float imported coal e-tenders

Two cement-makers based out of south India have floated separate tenders to procure a total of 80,000 tons of imported steam coal through the e-procurement route.

Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Ltd, a state government undertaking, has floated a tender to procure 40,000 tons of imported coal through e-procurement for its Ariyalur and Alangulam Cement units.

The last date of submission of offer documents is April 4, 2016.

Separately, Malabar Cements Ltd, a government of Kerala undertaking, too has floated a tender to procure 40,000 tons (+/-10%) of imported steam coal through e-procurement.

Malabar Cements seek the material on F.O.R Walayar basis/on CFR Cochin Port basis.

The last date of submission of offers documents is April 13, 2016.
