40t pet coke imported via Mundra after 2 months

December 21: Pet coke imports through the port of Mundra stood at 40 tons in November 2015. In October and September, there were no imports of the material, as per provisional information available with ICMW.

In November 2014, there were no imports either.

For the first eight months (April-November) of the current fiscal (2015-16), imports of pet coke through Mundra Port stood at a mere 140 tons while imports of the same stood at 142,441 tons in the same period of the previous fiscal.

In November 2015, the entire consignment came from China at a unit price of Rs 20,224 ($305) per ton.

In August, the entire consignment came from China at a unit price of Rs 28,680 ($447) per ton.
