ACB India awards contract to MBE CMT for Dahibari washery

March 11: ACB (India) Ltd, which has won the 1.6-million tons (mt) Dahibari coal washery project of Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL), has tied up with MBE Coal & Minerals Technology (CMT) India for outsourcing the engineering work for the said project.

As per the contract, MBE CMT would carry out the complete engineering work for the Dahibari project.

MBE CMT, which opted out of the recent washery tenders after Coal India Ltd (CIL) switched to the build-operate-maintain (BOM) model, is also bidding for the equipment contract for the 5 mt Patherdih I washery project which was owned by Monnet, a company source said.
