ACC’s fourth qtr net profit edges down 3.65% y-o-y

ACC, the largest cement manufacturer in India, reported a 3.65% decrease in net profit at Rs 223.47 crore in the fourth quarter (Q4) from January to March, 2016, compared to Rs 231.94 crore in Q4 of 2014-15, as per an official filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Even though net sales from operation increased to Rs 2,927.38 crore, marginally up from Rs 2,885.44 crore in 2015, other operating income decreased to Rs 63.22 crore down 67.52 % from 194.69.crore.

The company ends it financial year in December. The net profit of ACC during the previous year ending as on December 31, 2015 stood at Rs 575.55 crore.
