September 24: Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) has floated an expression of interest (EoI) to carry out feasibility study and preparation of a pre-feasibility report for setting up a coal-based thermal power project near Jogighopa in Goalpara district of Assam.
The thermal power project will be of 2X250 MW capacity and use imported non-coking coal, according to information available with ICMW.
Interested parties can submit their bids till October 10, 2013.
