APGENCO’s Sept coal imports down 28.39% m-o-m

October 24: Imports of steam coal by Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGENCO) during September 2014 stood at 111,000 tons against 155,000 tons reported for August, down 28.39% month-on-month, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The utility showed 44% materialisation for the month since its import target for September 2014 was 250,000 tons.
The total receipts of imported coal by APGENCO during the first six months of 2014-15 stood at 1,077,000 tons, up 41.52% compared to 761,000 tons received during the corresponding period of 2013-14, the data revealed.
