Anthracite coal imports via Vizag drop to 5,976 tons in Feb

March 12: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag dropped manifold to 5,976 tons in February 2014 against 45,020 tons recorded in January 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In February, 5,000 tons arrived from Ukraine at a unit price of Rs 8,094 ($129), while 976 tons arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 8,520 ($135).

In January 2014, all the consignments arrived from Ukraine in a price range of Rs 7,849 – Rs 8,056 ($126-$130).
