Anthracite coal imports via Vizag more than double in March

April 11: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag more than doubled to 15,000 tons in March 2014 against a volume of 5,976 tons reported in February 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In March, all the consignments arrived from Ukraine in a price band of Rs 7,907-Rs 8,019 ($128-$127) per ton.

In February, 5,000 tons arrived from Ukraine at a unit price of Rs 8,094 ($129), while 976 tons arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 8,520 ($135).
