Anthracite coal imports via Vizag rise marginally in April

May 9: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag rose marginally to 15,248 tons in April 2014 against 15,000 tons in March 2014, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In April, 9,700 tons arrived from South Africa in a band of Rs 6,792 - Rs 6,815 ($112-113) while the balance 5,548 tons came in from Ukraine in a range of Rs 7,907 - Rs 11,421 ($128-188).

In March, all the consignments arrived from Ukraine in a price band of Rs 7,907 - Rs 8,019 ($128-$127) per ton.
