Anthracite coal imports via Vizag spurt in Dec m-o-m

January 7: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag spurted manifold to 21,020 tons in December 2013 against a mere 2,034 tons recorded in November, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In December, the entire consignment arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 10,707 ($170).

In November, the entire material arrived from Ukraine at Rs 11,350 ($180-182) per ton.
