Anthracite coal imports via Vizag spurt manifold in Jan m-o-m

February 25: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag spurted manifold to 45,020 tons in January 2014 against 21,020 tons recorded in December 2013, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In January 2014, all the consignments arrived from Ukraine in a price range of Rs 7,849 - Rs 8,056 ($126-$130).

In December, the entire consignment arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 10,707 ($170).
