Anthracite coal imports via Vizag spurt sharply in June

July 9: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag spurted sharply to 46,000 tons in June 2014 against a quantum of 5,449 tons in May, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In June, the entire quantity arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,802 ($113).

In May, however, the consignments arrived from Ukraine in a price band of Rs 7,907-Rs 11,497 ($130-$191) per ton.
