Anthracite imported via Mundra Port after 5 months

After a gap of five months 16,500 tons of anthracite were imported via Mundra Port in February 2016. There were no anthracite coal imports via Mundra Port from September 2015 till January 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The imports in August were the first after a gap of more than 18 months as the previous consignment of anthracite coal had arrived through the port in March 2014 (1,208 tons).

In February 2016, a volume of 16,500 tons came from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,010 ($88).
In August 2015, the entire consignment came from China at a unit price of Rs 19,922 ($303) per ton.
