May 7: G-10 grade coal (GCV range 4,301 and 4,600 Kcal/kg) offered through the e-auction platform of coaljunction during April saw moderate demand as 144,600 tons out of an offered quantity of 197,250 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,055/ton.
However, during March 2014, the offering saw moderate demand as 446,010 tons out of an offered quantity of 615,760 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,100/ton.
In February, the G-10 offering saw good demand as 225,000 tons out of an offered quantity of 325,000 tons got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 2,082/ton.
