Aug anthracite coal imports via Vizag drop 41% m-o-m

September 11: Anthracite coal imports through the port of Vizag dropped 40.74% to 10,000 tons in August 2014 against a volume of 16,876 tons recorded in July, as per provisional data available with ICMW.

In August, all the consignments arrived from Russia at a unit price of Rs 6,802 ($111-112).

In July, 10,902 tons arrived from the Ukraine in a band of Rs 9,769 – Rs 11,421 ($163-189) per ton while the balance 5,974 tons arrived from Russia in a range of Rs 6,802 – Rs 8,215 ($113-135) per ton.
