September 4: Demand for G10 grade coal (GCV range 4,301 and 4,600 Kcal/kg) was strong in August on the coaljunction platform as 97% or 102,398 tons of the total offered quantity of 105,558 tons, got allotted.
The weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1,773 per ton.
On the other hand, in July, 29% or 2,900 tons of the total offered quantity of 10,000 tons, got allotted and the weighted average price of the allotted quantity during the month stood at Rs 1392/ton.
