December 23: : Fair demand was witnessed for G3 grade (GCV ranging from 6,401-6,700 Kcal/Kg) coal offered for allotment via MSTC’s e-auction platform in November 2015 as out of the entire offered quantity of 71,250 tons, 58,400 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,468 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
Similar kind of fair demand was witnessed for G3 grade coal offered for allotment via MSTC in October 2015 as out of the entire offered quantity of 47,870 tons, 34,700 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 4,854 per ton.
However, very poor demand was witnessed for G3 grade coal offered for allotment via MSTC in September 2015 as out of the entire offered quantity of 426,940 tons, only 5,570 tons got allotted but at a weighted average price of Rs 4,156 per ton.
