December 23: Moderate demand was witnessed for G6 grade (GCV 5,501 to 5,800 Kcal/kg) coal offered for allotment by CIL in the month of November 2015 via the e-auctions conducted on the MSTC platform as out of the entire offered quantity of 182,520 tons, 46,100 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 3,029 per ton, as per data available with ICMW.
However, fair demand was witnessed for G6 grade coal offered for allotment by CIL in the month of October 2015 via the e-auctions conducted on MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 75,100 tons, 39,710 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,968 per ton.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed for G6 grade offered for allotment by CIL in the month of September 2015 via MSTC as out of the entire offered quantity of 339,500 tons, 95,250 tons got allotted at a weighted average price of Rs 2,748 per ton.
