December 7: Fair or average demand was witnessed for washery grade (W3) coking coal offered by Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and Central Coalfields Ltd (CCL) for allotment through coaljunction in November 2015, as per data available with ICMW.
Out of the entire offered quantity of 151,800 tons during November 2015, a volume of 119,950 tons got allotted.
However, the weighted average price fell to Rs 2,594 per ton in November from Rs 3,058 per ton in October.
Similar kind of demand was witnessed for washery grade (W3, W4) coking coal offered by BCCL for allotment through coaljunction in October 2015.
Out of the entire offered quantity of 91,150 tons during October 2015, a volume of 48,950 tons got allotted.
However, the weighted average price rose to Rs 3,058 per ton in October from Rs 2,827 per ton in September.
Fair demand was witnessed for washery grade (W3, W4) coking coal offered by BCCL and CCL for allotment through coaljunction in September 2015.
Out of the entire offered quantity of 256,700 tons during September 2015, a quantum of 167,130 tons got allotted.
