April 30: BHEL has extended the bid submission date for coal beneficiation companies which might be interested in entering into a tie-up for its coal washery venture.
The company, which had earlier fixed the cut-off date as April 28, has extended the same to May 27, 2014.
BHEL plans to set up coal washeries for both coking and non-coking coal on EPC/turnkey/BOM basis. The bidders should have experience in setting up coal washery/ore beneficiation plant of at least 2.5 million tons per annum (mtpa), the company said.
