This week, CCU Coal and Construction LLC submitted a WARN notice with the Ohio Office of Workforce Development. The letter explains that the company will be reducing its workforce in the near future. The company does not anticipate that entire facilities will be shut down. The impacted workers do not have access to bumping rights.

The layoffs are expected to be permanent. They’re scheduled to begin on or around October 31, 2019. Layoffs will occur at many CCU Coal and Construction locations across Ohio. In total, 205 workers will lose their jobs.
