CIL Feb washed coking coal output unchanged m-o-m

Washed coking coal production by Coal India Limited (CIL) in February 2016 remained unchanged on a month-on-month basis at 0.20 million tons (mt) 2016, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

The production in February this year was 17.64% higher compared to 0.17 mt produced in February 2015, the data revealed.

Washed coking coal production by CIL during the first 11 months (April-February) of 2015-16 stood at 1.95 mt, 3.17% higher than 1.72 mt reported during the same period of the previous financial year.

The annual washed coking coal production target of CIL is 2.26 mt.
