CIL has made little progress on MDO: S Narsing Rao

February 13: Coal India Ltd (CIL) has made some progress, but not in a significant way on the appointment of a mine developer-cum-operators (MDO) for developing new mines, the company's Chairman S Narsing Rao told ICMW.

"We have made some progress as we have crossed some stages, but we are still processing the details till we finally float an RFP and receive the bids," Rao said.

"Then only can we say that there is credible response. Right now it is still in the process," he added.
