CIL issues LoI to appoint third-party sampling agencies

September 3: Coal India Ltd (CIL) has selected three companies which will do third-party sampling of coal to be supplied to its big consumers, mainly power sector consumers, a senior official with the company told ICMW.

"We have already issued letter of intent (LoI) for third-party sampling and so it will be implemented from September 31," the official said.

"We have issued LoIs to three parties – K C Sharma, Superindent & Co and Kedia & Company," he said.

These are the companies, which are already working on various projects in the power sector of government companies like NTPC, Mahagenco etc.
