CIL’s Dec washed coking coal output flat

After a double digit growth last month, washed coking coal (CC) production by Coal India Limited (CIL) showed a flat month-on-month growth in December 2015 at 0.19 million tons (mt), according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In December 2015, washed coking coal production by the coal behemoth also remained unchanged from 0.19 mt recorded in the same month a year ago (December 2014).
Washed coking coal production by CIL in the first nine months (April-December) of the current fiscal (2015-16) stood at 1.55 mt, slightly below the quantity of 1.56 mt reported for the same period of the previous fiscal.
The annual washed coking coal production target of CIL is 2.26 mt.
