CIL’s Oct washed CC output decreases 15% m-o-m

November 27: Washed coking coal (CC) production by Coal India Limited (CIL) in October 2015 stood at 0.17 million tons (mt) compared to 0.20 mt seen in September 2015, registering a fall of 15% month-on-month, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
In October 2015, washed coking coal production by the coal behemoth decreased 8.89% from 0.19 mt recorded in the same month a year ago (October 2014).
CIL’s washed coking coal output for the month of October was 88.26% of the target 0.20 mt set for the month.
Washed coking coal production by Coal India Limited (CIL) in the first seven months (April-October) of the current fiscal (2015-16) stood at 1.17 mt, unchanged from 1.17 mt in the same period of the previous fiscal.
The annual washed coking coal production target of CIL is 2.26 mt.
