CIL’s coal loading by rail up 8.21% in Nov y-o-y

December 28: Coal India Ltd’s (CIL) coal loading by railways was up 8.21% in November 2015 to 224 rakes/day, against 207 rakes/day recorded for the same month last year, according to provisional data available with ICMW.
The November 2015 loading, however, was lower than the target of 235 rakes/day set for the month, the data shows.
For the first eight months of 2015-16, rakes loading by CIL stood at 205 rakes/day, higher than 186 rakes/day reported for the same period last year, but lower than 225 rakes/day targeted for the period.
For the fiscal year 2015-16, the yearly target for CIL’s coal loading by railways stands at 233 rakes/day.
