CIL’s coking coal production remains flat in FY’13

August 28: Production of coking coal by eight coal producing subsidiaries of Coal India Limited remained almost flat y-o-y in 2012-13, while non-coking coal production increased by about 4% during the year.
According to CIL’s Annual Report for 2012-13, the production of coking coal fell mainly due to less production in its two subsidiaries - BCCL and SECL.
