CIL yet to take a call on SA subsidiary

August 29: Coal India limited (CIL) is yet to approve the report submitted by an Indian consultancy group for formation of a subsidiary company in South Africa.
"The draft memorandum of incorporation prepared by the consultant is in the process of receiving approval," a senior official of the company said.
The state-owned miner had entered into an agreement with the government of Limpopo province in South Africa for exploration and development of coal resources and it has planned to set up a subsidiary company to complete the work.
