CILs October off-take up 10.14% y-o-y

November 3: Coal India Limited (CIL) on November 3 said its off-take during October 2014 increased compared to the level reported in October 2013 and September 2014.
Off-take levels in October 2014 stood at 39.11 million tons (mt), up 10.14% from 35.51 mt produced in October 2013, according to provisional data released by the company.
On a month-on-month basis, the company’s off-take rose by 11.36% from 35.12 mt in September 2014.
During April-October, 2014-15, off-take by the world’s largest coal miner stood at 269.12 mt, up 3.56% over 259.87 mt reported in the corresponding period of 2013-14.
For the current financial year, the company has set an off-take target of 520.00 mt.
CIL’s off-take targets for April-October, 2014-15 were at 286.96 mt.
According to available data, the company’s actual off–take during October 2014 was 96% of the target of 40.94 mt.
