The park would be set up at an investment of nearly $66.5 million, the official added.
The Andhra Pradesh government has leased out 90 acres of land at Kakinada Port for 60 years to CONCOR for the park.
The company is going to build cargo handling equipment, container stack yard, inter- modal traffic, bulk and break-bulk cargo terminal.
CONCOR is working out on the possibilities of developing more MMLP at different ports such as Krishnapatnam and Machilipatnam.
