Anthracite coal imports via Chennai Port rose by 26.87% month-on-month to 1,152 tons in November 2015 against 908 tons in October, as per provisional data available with ICMW.
In November 2015, all the consignments arrived from China at a price range of Rs 17,613 -Rs 23,559 ($266 -356) per ton.
In October 2015 too, all the consignments arrived from China but at a price range of Rs 18,073 -Rs 24,263 ($273-367) per ton.
