Aluminium exports from the port of Chennai were at 1,162 tons in November 2015 against 1,178 tons in October, showing a degrowth of 1.35% month-on-month, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In November, exports included 1,584 tons of other products, 35 tons of long products, amongst others.
Furthermore, 902 tons of other products went to Malaysia at an average unit price of Rs 94,532 and 292 tons of various products to the US at an average unit price range of Rs 65,028 – 355,218.
In October, exports included 34 tons to French Polynesia at Rs 76,167 per ton, 41 tons to Ghana in a band of Rs 276,490-279,930 per ton, 22 tons to Kuwait at Rs 16,829/ton, 905 tons to Malaysia in a range of Rs 16,075- 202,353 per ton, 86 tons to Saudi Arabia at Rs 44,578/ton, 2 tons to Spain in a band of Rs 248,776 – 276,909 per ton, 19 tons to the UK at Rs 85,198/ton, 51 tons to the US at 182,758 – 348,558 per ton and 17 tons to Yemen at Rs 30,018/ton.
