Chennai Port’s October aluminium imports at 43,931 tons

November 25: Aluminium imports via Chennai Port in October 2015 stood at 43,931 tons, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In October, imports comprised 1,550 tons from Australia in a price band of 23,353 – 120,878 ($357-1,827) per ton, 4,881 tons from Malaysia in a band of Rs 94,004 – 334,879 ($1,421 – 5,062) per ton, 22,526 tons from Singapore in a range of Rs 70,486 – 316,742 ($1066 – 4,847) per ton amongst others.
