November 26: Limestone exports from the port of Chennai dropped 50.21% to 350 tons in October 2015 month-on-month over 703 tons in September, according to provisional data available with ICMW.

In October 2015, exports comprised 284 tons to the United Kingdom in a price range of Rs 6,467 – Rs 19,798 per ton, 16 tons to Australia in a band of Rs 7,980 – Rs 8,199 per ton, 26 tons to Germany at a unit price of Rs 10,730 and 25 tons to Italy at a unit price of Rs 8,641.
In September, however, 389 tons went to the UK in a price band of Rs 6,673 – Rs 33,971 per ton, 28 tons to Taiwan at a unit price of Rs 7,051, 125 tons to France in a range of Rs 10,311 – Rs 16,624 per ton, 24 tons to Australia at a unit price of Rs 6,885, 61 tons to Germany at Rs 6,281 – Rs 10,407 per ton, 26 tons to Ireland at a unit price of Rs 13,496, 25 tons to Italy at a unit price of Rs 9,103 and 26 tons to the Netherlands at Rs 9,555/ton.
