Chhattisgarh Chief Minister inaugurates NTPC-ITI at Korba

April 23: The NTPC Ltd funded newly-built Industrial Training Institute at Korba in Chhattisgarh was inaugurated by the state’s chief minister Raman Singh on April 23, the company said in a release.
Built over an area of 10 acres at Chorbhati village near Korba in the vicinity of the NTPC power station, the ITI is all set to start the sessions from this academic calendar.
Built at an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore, the ITI has been constructed as part of Community Development initiatives of NTPC.
Initially five trades- Wielder, Fitter, Instrumentation & Mechanics, Electrician and Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) – will be part of the curriculum.
