Coal India’s April off-take up 7.42% y-o-y

May 4: Coal India Limited (CIL), on May 2, said its off-take during April 2015 increased compared to the level reported in April 2014 though it fell slightly from that in March 2015.
Off-take levels in April 2015 stood at 43.55 million tons (mt), up 7.42% from 40.54 mt in April 2014, according to provisional data released by the company.
However, on a month-on-month basis, the company’s off-take fell from 47.49 mt in March 2015.
For the current financial year, the company’s off-take target was not available.
According to available data, the company’s actual off–take during April 2015 was 94% of the target of 46.21 mt.
