Coal Mines Rules unveil tender fee structure

November 20: The Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Rules, 2014 have unveiled the fee structure that the participants in the tender process will have to pay, based on the geological reserves of the Schedule I mines.

It may be noted that the auction of the Schedule I mines which will take place through an electronic auction process in accordance with the Ordinance, the Coal Mines (Special Provisions) Rules, 2014, a tender document and orders issued by the central government, will be a two-stage process comprising a technical bid and a financial bid.
