The Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) is organising an awareness meet on the new system of coal linkage through auction to the coal consumers such as cement, steel and allied industries including those who are planning to set up new industries requiring coal here on May 24.

 The meeting is being organised as part of implementing the new policy of coal allocation and linkage to the non-energy sector industries. The Union Coal Ministry has recently brought changes in the policy following the directions of the Supreme Court.
