Coal handling at Dahej Port up 13.14% in Dec m-o-m

January 30: Handling of coal at Dahej Port stood at 637,659 tons during December 2013, up 13.14% against 563,612 tons reported in November 2013, a senior port official told ICMW.

During December 2012, total coal handled at the port stood at 884,690 tons.

During the first nine months (April-December) of the current financial year of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 6,465,051 tons against 5,389,281 tons recorded during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
