Coal handling at Dahej Port up 22.82% in July m-o-m

August 22: Handling of coal at Dahej Port increased 22.82% to 1,211,739 tons during the month of July 2014 as compared to 986,608 tons handled in June, a senior port official informed ICMW.

During July 2013, coal handling at the port stood at 1,033,921 tons.

During the first four months (April-July) of 2014-15, total coal handled by the port stood at 3,973,908 tons against 3,161,516 tons handled during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
