Coal handling at Dahej port up 56.64% in July m-o-m

August 30: Coal handling at Dahej port stood at 1,033,921 tons during the month of July 2013, up 56.64% from 660,053 tons handled during the month of June, a senior port official told ICMW.

During July 2012, total coal handled by the port stood at 221,500 tons.

During the first four months (April-July) of the current financial year of 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 3,161,516 tons while the figure was at 1,980,247 tons during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
