Coal handling at Ennore Port falls 16.87% in Feb m-o-m

March 18: Coal handling at Ennore Port stood at 1,789,000 tons during February 2014, down 16.87% from 2,152,000 tons handled during the previous month, according to a compilation by the Indian Ports' Association (IPA).

In February 2013, total coal handling at the port stood at 1,596,000 tons.

During the first 11 months of the current financial year, total coal handled at the port stood at 20,336,000 tons against 13,557,232 tons handled during the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
