Coal handling at Ennore Port up 19.95% in March m-o-m

April 25: Coal handling at Ennore Port stood at 2,146,000 tons during March 2014, up 19.95% from 1,789,000 tons handled during the previous month, according to a compilation by the Indian Ports' Association (IPA).

In March 2013, total coal handling at the port stood at 1,440,000 tons.

During entire 2013-14, total coal handled at the port stood at 22,482,000 tons against 14,997,232 tons in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
