Coal handling at Ennore port falls 14.76% in Sept m-o-m

October 29: Handling of coal at Ennore port stood at 1,588,000 tons during September 2013, down 14.76% from 1,863,000 tons handled in August, according to a compilation by the Indian Ports Association (IPA).
On the other hand, coal handling during September 2012 stood at 888,000 tons.

During the first six months (April-September) of 2013-14, total coal handled by the port stood at 10,599,000 tons compared to 6,811,232 tons during the corresponding period of the previous year.
