Coal handling at Kandla Port rises 86.37% in June m-o-m

July 22: Coal handling at Kandla Port rose almost 86.37% to 971,000 tons during the month of June, compared to 521,000 tons recorded in May, according to a compilation by the Indian Ports Association.

In June 2013, coal handled at the port stood at 917,020 tons.

During the first three months of 2014-15, total coal handled at the port stood at 1,819,000 tons whereas the figure was at 1,820,907 tons during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
