Coal handling at Magdalla Port falls sharply in June

July 25: Coal handling at Magdalla Port stood at 115,976 tons during June 2014, down sharply from 956,205 tons handled in May, a senior port official told ICMW.

In June 2013, total coal handled at the port stood at nil.

During the first three months (April-June) of 2014-15, total coal handled at Magdalla Port stood at 1,705,244 tons whereas the figure was at 1,097,576 tons during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal.
