Coal handling at Magdalla Port up 72.11% in March m-o-m

April 28: Coal handling at Magdalla Port surged 72.11% during March 2014 to 567,102 tons, up from 329,499 tons handled in February, a senior official of the port told ICMW on April 28.

During March 2013, total coal handled at the port stood at 544,928 tons.

During 2013-14, total coal handled stood at 4,825,067 tons against 5,164,202 tons handled during the corresponding period of the previous financial year (2012-13).
